Not at all. Most of our customers are beginners. We provide a complimentary lesson covering everything you need to know before you get on the water. We will make sure you feel comfortable and confident before launch.
Yes. A complimentary beginner lesson is included with every rental if needed. We cover paddle handling, stroke technique, foot placement, and safety information before entering the water.

If weather or water conditions are not safe, we will help you reschedule for another day or time that works for you.
Wear comfortable clothes you do not mind getting wet. Swimwear, athletic wear, or quick-dry clothing works great. Always plan on getting wet. Secure your glasses and leave valuables on shore or in a waterproof bag.
Our preferred launch location is the Winfield Boat Launch Area. We serve customers across Kanawha and Putnam Counties, West Virginia. When you contact us to schedule, we will confirm the exact meeting spot.
Our Early Bird Special is a day rental for $60 instead of $75 — available when all equipment is returned by 3 PM the same rental day. It is a great way to enjoy a full morning on the water and save.
Yes. Every 5th paddler is free when you bring a group on 2-hour rentals. Contact us to plan a group outing and we will work out availability and pricing for your crew.
